Forge
In October 2023, Paul LaJeunesse unveiled Forge, a 10-foot by 20-foot mural on the north wall of Stone Harbor Wilderness Supply in Grand Marais, Minnesota. Commissioned through a Minnesota State Arts Board grant, Forge is a riverscape interpretation that captures the essence of the North Shore’s natural beauty and its role as a launching point for adventure.
We love that Paul loves Grand Marais and we are honored to help display his interpretation of all the area has to offer to everyone who visits this special place.— Beth Poliquin, Stone Harbor Wilderness Supply
Installed over two days, the mural was created using the PolyTab method, allowing for detailed studio work and efficient on-site installation. A protective acrylic varnish ensures the artwork’s longevity, allowing it to inspire residents and visitors for years to come.
